In una ciotola, mescola la salsa di soia, l'aceto di mele, il miele, l'olio d'oliva, la cipolla, l'aglio, il timo, il pepe nero e il peperoncino.

Taglia il petto di pollo a strisce e mettilo in un sacchetto richiudibile, versando 3/4 della marinata. Sigilla bene il sacchetto e lascia marinare in frigorifero per almeno 30 minuti.

Preriscalda il forno a 200°C.

Rimuovi il pollo dalla marinata, scartando il liquido. Posiziona il pollo su una teglia rivestita di carta forno.

Cuoci in forno per 15 minuti, girando a metà cottura, fino a quando il pollo è ben cotto e dorato.

Riscalda la marinata rimanente in un pentolino e servila sopra il pollo.
