Mettere a bagno le lenticchie e i fagioli rossi in abbondante acqua per almeno 2 ore, quindi scolarli.

Cuocere le lenticchie e i fagioli in una pentola con un litro di brodo vegetale a fuoco medio per circa 45 minuti, fino a quando saranno teneri. Scolali e tienili da parte con un po' del brodo di cottura.

In una padella, scaldare l'olio d'oliva e aggiungere i semi di cumino; farli tostare per 1-2 minuti.

Aggiungere lo zenzero e l'aglio, cuocere per un minuto, quindi unire la curcuma e la paprika, mescolando bene.
