Versa in una ciotola la farina integrale, aggiungi l'acqua tiepida, il lievito secco, il sale e l'olio extravergine. Impasta con le mani per 8-10 minuti fino a ottenere un impasto elastico e omogeneo.

Stendi l'impasto su un piano di lavoro leggermente infarinato con un mattarello fino a formare un rettangolo di circa 30x35 cm.

Tritare finemente l'aglio, la cipolla, il prezzemolo e il basilico insieme in un mortaio o con un coltello affilato. Mescola con un cucchiaino di olio extravergine.

Distribuisci il composto aromatico su tutta la superficie dell'impasto steso.

A partire da un lato lungo, arrotola l'impasto su se stesso creando un cilindro compatto.

Taglia il cilindro in 12 pezzi uguali. Posiziona i rotolini in una teglia da 24 cm precedentemente spruzzata con olio di oliva, disponendoli a spirale dal bordo verso il centro.

Copri con un canovaccio umido e lascia lievitare per 50 minuti in un luogo caldo e senza correnti d'aria.

Dopo 20 minuti di lievitazione, accendi il forno a 200°C.

Togli il canovaccio e cuoci in forno per 32-35 minuti fino a doratura. Il pane suonerà vuoto se colpito sul fondo.

Sforna e lascia raffreddare su una gratella. Servi tiepido o a temperatura ambiente.
