Inizia mettendo a bagno i ceci secchi in acqua per almeno 8 ore, quindi scolali e cuocili in acqua bollente per circa 45 minuti o fino a quando sono teneri.

In una padella antiaderente, scalda l'olio di cocco a fuoco medio.

Aggiungi la cipolla tritata finemente, lo spicchio d'aglio schiacciato, il zenzero grattugiato e il peperoncino verde tagliato a rondelle; fai rosolare fino a doratura.
