Sciacquare la quinoa sotto acqua corrente fino a che l'acqua non risulta limpida; questo aiuta a rimuovere il sapore amaro della saponina.

In una pentola, scaldare l'olio extravergine d'oliva a fuoco medio e aggiungere la cipolla tritata e l'aglio. Soffriggere fino a che non diventano trasparenti, circa 5 minuti.
