Preriscalda il forno a 180°C e ungi una teglia di 20x30 cm con un po' d'olio.

In una padella, scalda l'olio e aggiungi la cipolla tagliata finemente. Cuoci a fuoco medio fino a quando non diventa morbida e traslucida, circa 5 minuti.

Aggiungi il petto di pollo al brodo bollente e cuoci per circa 15-20 minuti fino a cottura completa.

Rimuovi il pollo e sminuzzalo, conservando il brodo.

Cuoci le patate dolci fino a renderle tenere, quindi schiacciale in una ciotola; aggiungi sale, pepe e paprika.

Aggiungi un po' di brodo per ottenere una consistenza cremosa simile a un purè.

Stendi metà del purè di patate dolci nella teglia, poi distribuisci il pollo sminuzzato e la cipolla caramellata.

Cuoci in forno per circa 30-35 minuti fino a doratura.
