Versa la panna fresca in un barattolo di vetro pulito con coperchio ermetico.

Chiudi bene il coperchio e agita vigorosamente il barattolo per 8-10 minuti, fino a quando la panna inizia a ispessirsi e si forma una pallina di burro all'interno. Vedrai il liquido bianco (latticello) separarsi dal burro solido.

Versa il contenuto del barattolo in un colino a maglia fine posto sopra una ciotola, scola bene il latticello e conservalo se desideri usarlo per bevande o ricette.

Risciacqua il burro sotto acqua corrente fredda mentre lo impasti delicatamente con le dita per eliminare i residui di siero. Cambia l'acqua 2-3 volte fino a quando l'acqua di scolo non diventa limpida.

Trasferisci il burro in una garza pulita o in un canovaccio di cotone e strizza bene per eliminare l'umidità residua.
