Lascia in ammollo i fagioli neri in acqua fredda per 30 minuti, quindi scolali.

In una pentola, cuoci i fagioli con 150ml di acqua e la foglia d'alloro a fuoco medio-basso per 40 minuti, finché saranno teneri.

In una padella antiaderente, rosola il pollo a cubetti fino a doratura e cuoci per circa 10 minuti. Rimuovi il pollo e nella stessa padella fai soffriggere la cipolla e l'aglio fino a quando saranno trasparenti.

Aggiungi la curcuma, il coriandolo e il peperoncino, mescolando bene per un paio di minuti.

Rimetti il pollo nella padella e unisci il soffritto ai fagioli, mescolando il tutto e cuocendo per altri 10 minuti per amalgamare i sapori.

Tosta le mandorle in una padella asciutta per 2 minuti e uniscile al piatto con il prezzemolo e una spruzzata di succo di lime prima di servire.
