Pulisci le cozze sotto acqua corrente, scartando quelle già aperte o danneggiate; mettile da parte.

Pulisci il merluzzo dai residui di spine, taglia i filetti a pezzi regolari di circa 80 g l'uno e conserva in frigorifero.

Tritare finemente prezzemolo, aglio e cipolla in una ciotola.

In un grande tegame, scalda l'olio a fuoco medio-alto e sfuma aglio, cipolla e pepe per 2 minuti fino a profumo.

Aggiungi i pomodorini tagliati a metà e lascia rosolare per 3 minuti, poi deglassa con il vino bianco.

Versa l'acqua, aggiungi timo, origano, il peperoncino e porta a ebollizione.

Riduci il fuoco e aggiungi le cozze nel brodo: cuoceranno in 8-10 minuti circa (elimina quelle che non si aprono).

Quando le cozze si sono aperte, appoggia delicatamente i filetti di merluzzo sulla superficie del brodo e lascia cuocere a fuoco dolce per 6-8 minuti, finché il pesce è opaco al centro.

Regola di sale e pepe, aggiungi il succo di limone fresco e il prezzemolo tritato.
